"As a solopreneur I tend to feel like I’m all alone in the business world and I found the camaraderie, support and expertise of the Group members to be the best thing that has happened for me and my business. We had a great time, and I made some very strong progress on my marketing goals during our six meetings. This was an exceptional experience for me and I would highly recommend Charlene as a Mastermind Group Leader." ~ Lynn M. Strand, MLIS Outside Knowledge
"I joined the MasterMind group in search of clarity and direction on next steps when my employment ended abruptly and I was feeling burned out on the work and personal front. I enjoyed the camaraderie and had never experienced accountability in such a supportive atmosphere. As I saw goals redefined and new directions taken by seasoned professionals, I was encouraged to continue my pursuit of becoming an IIP. I was tentative about joining the group, being so new, but at the end could see that working with a mastermind group is a strategy of which every solopreneur should avail themselves during their career." ~ Roxanne Corbin
"I have participated in two of Charlene’s MasterMind sessions and they have both been extremely helpful for my business and for my confidence. At the beginning of the first MasterMind session I had been sitting on my new business for five years (i.e. paying for the license) but not knowing where to go with it.
The group of people that Charlene put together were a dynamic, thoughtful, and amazingly helpful group with lots of great input and ideas. Charlene organized the sessions and moderated them so that everyone had an opportunity to speak, but not too much! She has a wonderful way of being supportive, while letting you explore your options. Each week we were encouraged to set goals, and Charlene would ask us how we did on our goals and ended by asking us about our next week’s goals. We were always encouraged to pick up where we left off, never chastised for not having accomplished our goals, but certainly held accountable.
Having a meeting every two weeks was good timing and Charlene was always prompt and organized for the meeting. She also followed up with references and set up a spreadsheet that we could add to if we had our own contributions. The number of people in the MasterMind group was held to eight or ten, which allowed us to interact but also have a variety of people from whom to get new ideas. I would definitely do another MasterMind group if it is offered, as there is always progress to be made and the support and contribution is invaluable." ~ Elizabeth Gould, Global Reference Services, Seattle, WA
